“ Lord have mercy on dis ole sole! the whole experience is awesome! Watching the owner mix his bloody marry mix was cool! Even better when he gave me a taste of the mix! WOW! spot on with the spices. I had the steak enchiladas and my son had the enchilada Supreme. He said the food was the best he has tasted and I agree! The proportions were huge. The best part was the bill! Yes the check was extremely reasonable for today economy. Less the 45 for both and I had a 32 ounce GAELIC ALE! GOOD STUFF! I highly recommend going out of your way to visit this establishment. To experience such team work was amazing. Kudos to the owners. Well done for a Californian! very nice people. ”
“ You guys literally I’ve been thinking about this place ever since I went there while on a trip. I cannot wait to go back. The food was excellent, the waiter was cute and helpful. I got leftovers to go and I was so excited to eat it. I got the sizzling fajitas and I didn’t even have to choose between steak or chicken. I got both. I’m just bummed that I can’t go back until next year when I go on the trip again. I’m currently on the hunt for a Mexican place near me that comes even close to how good this place was. 10/10 recommend. ”
“ New location (due to Helene) and the food is still good. The restaurant is now one large room and the tables are pretty close to each other and, therefore, it is pretty loud. Glad to see them back! ”
“ This is my absolute favorite restaurant, from Indiana to North Carolina. You will not find any other family owned and operated restaurant this amazing. I order something different every time I've been here and have never been disappointed. From the food/salsa bar/ drinks 10/10. Not to mention the atmosphere and the excellent customer service from the staff. This is my go-to when in the Black Mountain area. Thank you, Ole, for creating such an amazing experience ”
“ The best Mexican food I've had since I've lived in North Carolina! The meat actually had some flavor. Our waitress was nice and attentive Margs were great! Overall, it was a great experience! ”
“ Loved this little gem. We really enjoyed their salsa bar. We had the arroz con pollo and the quesadilla. Both were delicious. If weather is nice ask to sit outside. It is a lovely place to eat with decent prices. ”
“ Found this place on the first night of an Ashville camping trip. What a treat! Food was delicious and drinks were tasty (although a little weak). Chips with the bean and cheese dip was a plus. Sat outside right next to a stream with the pup. Don't forget to try the salsa bar inside! ”
“ Excellent food and excellent prices. We both got the shrimp chimichanga. They were huge and we truly could have shared a single plate. It's probably 20 years since I had the best seafood chimichanga ever. This one matched, if not surpassed, that one. Sadly we are only passing through so I don't know if we'll get to eat here again. ”
